SHK Ventures is building the next generation of tech-powered home services providers. Our mission is to become the leading home services provider in select regional markets across Germany. As we drive the energy transition, skilled craftsmen and digital entrepreneurship are key. SHK Ventures will play a crucial role in accelerating the electrification of buildings, helping Germany meet its 2050 climate goals.

We invest in or acquire trusted home services businesses in HVAC, electric and solar, focusing on teams that excel in their field. Our goal is to transform traditional, paper-based operations into industry-leading organizations through technology. We believe in consistently serving our customers while expanding opportunities for each of our local brands. We partner exclusively with business owners who have built trusted, community-rooted companies.

🚀 Your Mission:

As a Founders Associate at SHK Ventures, you’ll work closely with our founding team to ensure smooth operations and continued growth. You’ll be a vital part of the leadership team, supporting all areas of M&A, business development, strategy, and execution. This is an unmatched opportunity to learn from experienced entrepreneurs and make a real impact on a fast-growing company.

📋 What You will Do:

• Partner with the founders on day-to-day business operations, such as market research, strategic initiatives, and partnership development.

• Contribute to mergers & acquisitions (M&A) processes by supporting analysis and execution.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment with company goals.

• Serve as a liaison between the founders and external stakeholders, including investors, clients, and business partners.

🫵 Who You Are:

• Entrepreneurial mindset: You either have a concrete plan to start a business or a vision to do so in the future. We love working with people who have a clear ambition and are eager to learn the most about entrepreneurship.

• Problem solver: You naturally think in solutions, not problems, and take ownership of your tasks, applying analytical skills and structured thinking to solve them independently.

• Hands-on experience: You have gained real-world experience in a fast-paced environment. Experience in (preferably energy or climate related) start-ups, consulting, or investment banking is a plus.

• Ownership mentality: The phrase "This is not my job!" doesn’t exist for you. You take initiative to identify and tackle challenges, driving positive change.

• Action-oriented: You default to action and want to gather quick learnings, iterating as you progress.

• Language: Fluency (or close to fluency) in German is required.

🏦 The Admin stuff:

• Duration: 4–6 months, with potential to transition into a full-time position.

• Location: Berlin or Munich. But hybrid, as we embrace flexibility, but believe that in-person collaboration is key to building something great. Flexibility to travel within Germany essential. 

• Equipment: We provide all the hardware you need to be effective – Mac, PC, screen, or keyboard – just let us know!

• Salary: €3,500 per month, depending on your experience.
